T-Mobile is expanding its airline partnerships via a new deal with Delta Air Lines.

The Bellevue, Wash.-based carrier announced Thursday it will provide free in-flight Wi-Fi to Delta customers, regardless of their wireless provider.

T-Mobile already offers free in-flight Wi-Fi to its own subscribers on Delta, Alaska, American and United, which inked its own deal with T-Mobile in September.

The initiative will roll out to most domestic mainline Delta flights starting Feb. 1. More than 700 aircraft are expected to offer free Wi-Fi by the end of 2023, T-Mobile said, adding that expansion to international and regional routes is expected by the end of 2024.

The service will include free Wi-Fi all flight long, and to connect, passengers can log in or sign up for a Delta SkyMiles account.

Delta’s in-flight Wi-Fi connection portal will be refreshed later this spring and will feature personalized content, entertainment, exclusive offers and more, according to T-Mobile.
